J. Patrick Brumfield, PT, was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Medical Center in 1994. Patrick founded St. Francis Rehab in 1997 and has maintained his commitment to offering the most innovative therapy services within the industry to the residents of St. Francisville and surrounding Feliciana Parish communities. He has served as the Rehabilitation Department Manager of West Feliciana Parish Hospital since 1997 and played an integral role in the strategic planning, design and development of the recently expanded physical therapy annex. His 17 years of experience treating patients in a variety of settings has provided him the skills and expertise necessary to evaluate and treat a diverse patient population. A. Frannie Bourgeois, DPT

Dr. Anne "Frannie" Bourgeois, PT was born and raised in Thibodaux, LA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Movement Studies from Louisiana State University in 2004 and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA in 2011. Prior to joining St. Francis Rehab, Dr. Bourgeois concentrated her clinical internships on differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries specifically of the spine as well as sports medicine and post-operative rehabilitation.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She devotes her spare time to participating in endurance races ranging from 5K races to marathons and triathlon training. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. |
Kyra L. Moss, LOTR, CHT

Kyra L. Moss, LOTR, CHT, was born and raised in Zachary, LA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and then completed a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994 from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Kyra was awarded the prestigious Occupational Therapist Specialty Certification of Hand Therapy (CHT) in 2008. Through her vast experience in multiple clinical settings including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and acute care hospitals, Kyra has gained the expertise needed to provide her patients with a customized therapy care plan that will achieve their goals and restore health and maximal function in the most expeditious manner possible. She frequently attends continuing education courses as she believes this will ensure that her patients are receiving the most advance treatment techniques available. Some of the courses she has taken over her 17 years of practice include the Management of Shoulder Disorders, Splinting and Orthotic Fabrication, Neurological Rehabilitation, and the treatment of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
She is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. At home, Kyra enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and son, Winston. |
Rebecca Kastl, CCC-SLP

Rebecca was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She has worked as a Speech Pathologist since finishing graduate school at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2008. She received her ASHA license in 2009. Rebecca joined St. Francis Rehab in 2010. She currently works in the public schools, and also has experience working in hospitals and early intervention settings. She loves working with children, and makes an effort to stay aware of current practices in the field to bring the greatest possible benefit to her clients. |
Nicole Boyle, Physical Therapy Assistant

Nicole M. Boyle, PTA was born and raised in Maurepas, LA. She attended Southwest Mississippi Community College in McComb, MS from 1997-1998. She received her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, LA. Nicole has worked in multiple clinical settings including home health care, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care hospitals. She joined St. Francis Rehab in 2001 and in addition to patient care, serves as physician liaison and assistant director of clinic care development. Her special interests include management of post-operative sports injuries, incorporation of aquatic therapy in neurologically impaired patients, and management of spinal and lower extremity pain during pregnancy. Continuing education courses include advancement in modalities, biofeedback and stress reduction management, and treatment of spinal pain in the pregnant patient.
Nicole has been licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners since 2001. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jimmy, and her two sons, James and Carter. |
Kayla W. Howard, Physical Therapy Assistant

Kayla Howard, PTA, is a resident of Zachary, LA. She received her Associate of Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2009 from Our Lady of the Lake College. Her clinical experiences have included outpatient facilities, acute care hospitals, nursing homes, and home health care. She joined St. Francis Rehab in 2011 and works exclusively within our aquatic therapy program and performs home health care. Her continuing education includes Functional Exercise for the Musculoskeletal Patient, and courses at the Aquatic Therapy University in Minneapolis, MN where she learned the clinical skills necessary for successful aquatic therapy intervention in patients with musculoskeletal disorders and vestibular impairments. Kayla is dedicated to providing the utmost care and compassion to her patients to help return them to the quality of life they desire. Away from the clinic, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and outdoor activities. |
